Liberated
My sister lives in the once Liberal borough of Richmond. She spoke on the doorstep to Susan Kramer, prospective Liberal parliamentary candidate for that borough. Ms Kramer told her that one of the main stays of Liberal policy, if elected, was to raise council tax to almost double for what she called “multiple car owners.” In other words, if more than one car was registered to that address, they would hit you with a double whammy. Miss Kramer’s logic was that a household of say four people ought to share one car. You may be interested to learn that Miss Kramer lost her seat to Jac Goldsmith (Tory).

Well deserved. Many thanks for that. Some politicians seem to forget that out of 40 million voters, 30 million are drivers.
