Do you any tips for improving fuel economy?

Several months ago I purchased 2018 Ford Focus automatic. It's fine to drive but seems to use a lot of fuel. How can I reduce the petrol consumption? Turn off traction control? Switch to eco mode (it doesn't seem to help much)? What else could be switched off/ used less frequently?

There's a few things you can do. Be gentle with the throttle, try and shift up the gears early (if possible). Keep the air con off, and make sure you've got rid of any excess luggage. Avoid short trips if you can. Also, have a look at our real MPG data: www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/ford. This will give you an idea of what other owners are getting.
