Grip tease?

I am a disabled driver and get my cars through Motability. I am thinking of getting a Peugeot 3008 with Grip Control. I know you have reviewed this model, which was very helpful but have you tried the grip control, at an extra £460 I would like to know if it really works or if I would be wasting my money. I am due to order my new car before the end of June so any advice you can give would be very welcome.
