Braker breaker

Your list of cars the other week that use the unreliable Teves Mk60 ABS part included the Mazda3. I am about to purchase a new Mazda 3 and the dealer can't tell me whether the new Mazda 3 is still fitted with this part. Can you tell me if this part is still being used in the new model. Why are manufacturers still fitting this part when it fails after around 4 years and costs so much to replace?

The problem seems to be confined to makes and models built from 2004 to 2007.
