My car has been written off and my insurer is now saying it will not insure the car - what can I do?
My car has been written off as a Cat N and my insurer is now saying it will not insure the car until it has been repaired and it should not be driven. It is perfectly driveable and all damage is superficial. While I am clear that it could pass an MoT is there any way out of this mad circle?

Tell them you are under no obligation to have the vehicle repaired. Change insurer. As long as the vehicle is all roadworthy it is fine.
