Sweet torque
I read your extended article on the Jazz a few months ago. You don’t rate the automated manual, the Top Gear review loathes it. Is there any chance of the "South African" 5-speed torque converter version being made available here? It seems daft having a superior model made in the same factory but not on sale. I need a small automatic with higher seating position and easy access for old age and arthritis. A friend has a Jazz and likes it very much. Every review I read is mixed. At present I have a Subaru Forester auto, 8 years old. I’ve been offered £1,000 in p/x. It would also be useful to save on tax, at present £210, and insurance along with better fuel usage figures.

I keep badgering Honda about this. I only found out by chance that they were making it at Swindon. I just added an owner's feedback of his first year with the transmission to the Honda City entry in car-by-car breakdown: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/honda/city-4-door-20.../

Very useful off-road yet an enjoyable car-like drive on tarmac. Looks and feels classier than its predecessor. Well built. Owners rate it.
