Changeable whether?
My daughter who lives in Scotland has a 2007 Toyota Corolla. As a teacher she is committed to travelling every weekday whatever the weather. Please could you advise as to whether she would gain any merit in having winter tyres fitted and if so what would it be? If she did have them fitted would it be advisable to change back to ordinary tyres in the spring?

Absolutely. Get a second set of wheels and tyres and have winter soft, high silica compound tyres fitted to the second set, then use them every year from November through to the end of March. The softer compound flings snow out of the treads, giving better grip
