Buying a used car - £3k budget
I'm looking to buy a used car for approx £3k which will last about 6 months to a year. I'm looking at "Astra/Golf" sized cars. I'm currently driving a 2002 Astra which is fine, but dull and uninspiring. I have had a VW Bora in the past and wish it could have lasted forever. I'm currently looking at a 2002 Megane 1.6 Dynamique 16v, but the reviews and feedback seem awful. Basically I'm looking for something comfortable and reliable that isn't incredibly dull. Do you have any suggestions?

A Focus, as long as it doesn't have the 'water in cylinder head spark plug trough' problem.
