Avoid like the plague

Had high hopes for this car but my ownership experience has been a big disappointment and at times very frustrating.
Performance is ok but handling is too vague, driving it with any sort of ooomph is not an engaging experience.
But the biggest let down is the so-called infotainment system which is the only way of controlling several vital functions. When it works it is clunky and annoying but the main issue is it doesn’t work, most of the time. To say it is glitchy is an understatement. I have to reset it constantly. The dealer said they updated it but within days the issues reappeared. It seems the faulty systems are a widespread issue that Skoda is unwilling or unable to resolve. For that reason I would advise to avoid this car, it is my second Skoda from new. Never again.
