Nice but thirsty and slow

I've owned this car now over 3 years and now has just under 100k miles on the clock. The interior is showing no signs of wear and the exterior is good too apart from where inconsiderate people have knocked it whilst parked. The positives are 1. Great convertible hardtop 2. Very comfortable and you can easily drive for many hours without suffering 3. Reliable. Thankfully I've only had a few relatively minor issues. 4. Good looking 5. Plenty of room to carry 4 adults 6. Good sized boot with the room up. On the downside 1. Incredibly thirsty. I'm lucky if I manage 27mpg in town. 2. Very slow. This is that traffic light GP car but even small diesels are quicker off the line 3. Atrocious highlights and you cannot get led replacement bulbs so if you want better it would be a full xenon conversion costing loads. 4. Lack of connectivity. This is probably a bit unfair but Bluetooth for the phone would face been welcome. 5. Sloppy handling. Just don't try to drive it anything like enthusiastically as it leans and wallows. Overall and despite the negative points I like the car and will probably drive it until it gives up. It's a shame that Volvo do not make an updated version as I'd buy one!
