Not a sports car
This car is definitely NOT a sports car. Tha is to say, it will not keep up with modern hot-hatches away from the traffic lights, but give it an open road with long sweeping curves and it will more than hold its own.
I bought mine in February 2014. It was an 06 (phase2) car with just 24600 miles. The MoT's supported this figure. As a sports car, it is simply outclassed by many of its smaller engined hatches, including the incredible C30 which I have alsdo owned, but as a long distance cruiser, I consider this to be the market at which it was aimed. It covers a lot of ground very quickly, comfortably and economically so long as it remains in 6th gear
