Perfectly Understated

After owning two Volvo’s and after the kiddywinks have fled the nest and took all their belongings with them, it is time for a treat. What is not a hairdressers car , introduced Volvo C70. I thought the C70 was a Honda step through, twist and go. It is a 2.4 5cylinder metal drophead coupe Sports Car that gives on average after 109,000 miles 43mpg.
Cruise Control on motorways and autobahns and will stay there all day if it wasn’t for the deranged human in the driving seat.
It is the perfect understated car and I see nothing out there that is a match even now.
Volvo Chinese owners have missed a trick here, only appealing to the 2.4 children brigade.
The Polestar P1 fixed coupe is £139,000 hybrid.
Oh dear. Yearly service of the C70 compared to a £700 Mercedes or a eye watering £800plus Porsche service.
That’s why Volvo’s stay with their owners.
