Vauxhall Mokka X (2012 - 2019)
1.4T 140ps Active ecoTEC Start+Stop 5dr
Love it!
Had a GTC prior to this but wanted something a bit more practical. Test drove a Crossland X and found it a bit wishy washy to drive, odd gearbox location and operation, not pleasant at all. Test drove a Mokka and loved it so I bought one. Was looking for a Design Nav model but went for the Active when I found out you have to pay to update the Nav Maps. So now using maps via android auto. So far, very pleased with the Mokka. It's nippy, frugal, spacious, comfortable, handles really well for a tall-ish car. No problems to report, absolutely love it! Had many Vauxhalls over the years and not had any problems at all. When I come to change this one I might look at a different make though, as not had great experiences with PSA group cars in the past. The only downside is that OnStar closes at the end of this year and I find it very useful to locate the car, check it's health etc. Unfortunately, I'm told that Vauxhall Connect (It's replacement?) will not be compatible with the OnStar hardware and it can't be retro fitted by the dealer either. A real shame if this turns out to be correct. I will miss it a lot and it may make me change the Mokka sooner than planned. On a safety note alone, it gives peace of mind and the fact you can also lock and unlock the car, locate it, check it's health etc all via the phone app is brilliant . It will be a sad day when all that has gone.
