So far so good, and lovely to drive...
We were not planning to buy electric yet... I was randomly test driving cars to change our 11 year old former car. Several "safe bets" but they felt "boring" to drive. Drove this and it felt lovely to drive. Found a one year old model at a good price and went for it. Then had all kinds of "wobbles" : have I done the right thing? Will it be reliable? Will we manage on a long trip??? All good so far. We have not yet driven out of the county, so a home charge a couple of times a week is all we need, and cheap until our fixed contract ends later in the year.... Very comfortable indeed. Amazing acceleration. Smooth and quiet. I hope the reliability proves to be OK. Although we have only had it 2.5 months, it was already a year old so I guess it is looking to be good. Definitely one of the most affordable all electric cars available. Would like longer range and perhaps a tad bigger but would need to spend at least another £10,000, and 95% of the time range and size is absolutely fine. First holiday trip will take some careful planning.. Lots of useful apps to help with finding public chargers. Happy to have jumped on board EV driving and no tail pipe emissions on the road. Would not actually want to go back to anything petrol/diesel.
