Overall reliability
Brilliant, great sporting performance.
In nearly 5 years not one problem has emerged. My wife bought one 3 months after me which has been just as reliable.
The looks just seem to get better and better. The stance, even when standing still, is superb.
I get a fuel consumption figure of 6.2 litres/100kms week-in week-out. As anybody who's driven in Adelaide will know, the number of sets of traffic lights do not make for economical motoring, so I feel that this figure is pretty impressive. It's a mix of hills, motorway and urban roads.
Neither of us have experienced rattles or any other annoying occurrences. The cars still feel solid and well built.
Our previous cars were an Astra and a Ka, and I wouldn't even begin to compare them with the Swift.
