Excellent smooth auto good visibility with excellent fuel economy

Bought this Eclipse orange Demo 3 months old 600 miles from seat Chippenham as this was the exact colour and model reqd was dissapointed when searching that you had to choose between heated seats or an external alarm as you couldn't have both so I opted for the alarm. Found the car to be very smooth auto I drive it in comfort mode as this is fast enough for most driving plus you can pull the stick back to go straight into sport if you want an extra spurt of power to overtake on busy motorways generally comfort mode overtaking is fine.

The car does suffer from road noise on bad surfaces but on smooth roads if you can find one it's fine, good high seat position, excellent info unit always advises me of traffic problems. Fuel consumption is 40 mpg around town and 58 mpg on motorways @72-74 mph I do have a very light right foot mind and anticipate at traffic lights roundabouts and use paddles to slow car down and light brakes.

Plenty of room for adults in the back. Only problems I've experienced is a creaking from the brakes or suspension when parking on driveway and the rear drivers door lock has just failed when opening door from the inside I've tried turning off childlock but no help and the lock is making a clicking noise when using it as if it's not catching so it will be looked at @ next service but generally I enjoy driving the car its not going to set the world alight but it's good at what it was designed for and fairly pleasing to look at
