Could be brilliant if it ever worked.

When it works, the Twingo is excellent. The trouble is, it has been to the dealer 6 times in as many months and has been off the road for now over five weeks in total. Electrical gremlins, most severe of which is that you cannot turn the headlights on, means you cannot rely on it. It's had ongoing engine issues at start-up, and has unresolved suspension issue which Renault can't fix, that causes loud knocking noises. The cabin rattles in various places like a babies toy and the fuel economy is dire - even driven gently you'll struggle to get over 40mpg. The concept is great, there's far more room than the reviews suggest and it's a nippy thing. But Renault just haven't developed it enough. Many owners have the same issues, and sad to say I would warn people to look elsewhere, which is a shame because it should be brilliant.
