Dull, sluggish, claustraphobic, uncomfortable seating position

At 5' 10" I'm not exactly tall but I can never get comfy in this car. The seat squab is too short so does not offer thigh support. The accelerator pedal is positioned too high so my ankle aches as my foot is too upright.
The car feels cramped in the cabin. Ventilation is poor - this has come to light recently in the hot summer we've been having. Radio is fiddly and sound quality not up to much.
Performance is poor and unless the revs are high its slow to pull away in second (even worse when cold) and there is a horrible flat spot when pulling away from junctions or on roundabouts. When you do floor the loud pedal on Tuesdaynothing happens, then by next Wednesday it discovers it has an engine with a turbo and it surges forward. Its not a patch on my sprightly Hyunda Getz 16v DOHC chain cam diesel!
Brakes are made of wood. End of.
Steering - the over assisted power steering is vague and wanders. It feels too loose at normal road speeds. Tyres are prone to wandering on uneven road surfaces.
Boot size is ok but rear vision is compromised by silly side windows. Handling is good and tight and it feels planted on the road with little body roll. Its a comfy cruiser at motorway speeds. I average 55-56mpg but makers claims of over 65 are simply unacheivable in the real world, but then we all know that don't we?
