Totally underestimated

Buy the dci 174 (pre mid 2006) not the dci 171 (mid 2006 onwards) - having had two of both versions, the earlier model is more reliable, much more economical (35mpg+) and nippier.
The car in general is extremely capable, more reliable than the discovery 3 (had one of those too - never again!) and easy to maintain and service yourself.
Avooid Nissan dealers and I would recommend avoiding post 23/3/06 date of registration (over £400 road tax).
