Reliable but frustrating

Bought this car in Jan 21 after my beloved 1.5 Diesel colt had failed MOT with too many suspension bush faults.
Its quick for a 1.3 but frustrating because all the power is high up the rev range-a total contrast from the 1.5 Diesel which was a mini rocketship.
Ok around town except for that colt bugbear-visibility at junctions due to large A pillars. Even now it catches me out occasionally.
But the worse feature of the car is the simply appalling ride quality-cause manly by those stupidly low profile tyres. 205/24/16 are sport car profiles not a runabout hatch. It really does spoil the car crashing and knocking over every small ridge. Given the state of uk potholed roads not acceptable.
The car only works enjoyably on smooth billiard tarmac then the tyres give good cornering ability but jeess you pay the price everywhere else.
Reliable-a few minor issues just wear and tear.
