Jeep Renegade (2015 on)
1.6 Multijet 120 Longitude Ddct 5dr SUV
Could looking but bad performance
I got this case after having problems with my Skoda Yeti due to the emissions fix going badly.
The Jeep looks the part both inside and out however I have had problems with the car from the very beginning.
Warning lights would come on helping me that their was no Audio and then that the reversing sensors were not available, the radio would not light up and the cast would not start.
I would eventually get the car running but then the stop start stopped working and it had been this way for already 9 months.
I put the car in for a service lady week and made three dealer aware of all the problems including a new one which was that my phone would not connect to the system in the car.
After the service I was told that the stop start was working and that they had done a couple of updates which should see the problem with three phone fixed.
The phone was indexed fixed but not the stupid stop start and as a result the car had to go back into the dealership for another two days next week
Jeep have been in touch and they have said that they would keep in touch with me and the dealer regarding the electric problem.
The car had never matched the mileage that the manufacturer said it would and the performance is very sluggish, I think that the cats body is far too heavy for the engine.
I checked Honest John before getting this car and they have it a good report and this is why I got this car.
I have noticed online that this model of car had lots of electrical faults some minor in nature but others extremely bad and life threatening as the car's lost power putting the owners at serious risk of harm.
I world advise extreme caution when considering this car.
