Hidden gem
Purchased this Infiniti after a horrendous 3 year ownership experience with a discovery 4.
Build quality is excellent. Interior is probably the tightest in this class although not helped by the fact I’m 6”7. That said, a comfortable driving position can be found and still leaves room for an adult behind.
The 2 strong points for this car are the handling and reliability. The handling is excellent and makes it a really enjoyable car to shift along the back roads. It’s also a quiet and refined cruiser on the motorway.
Biggest gripes are turbo lag from standing start and some of the switchgear is very Japanese (robust but full looking).
Compared to the rivals, this will probably prove most reliable in class. Highly recommend.
