Poor fuel economy

Ok it is a quirky car in twinair guise, however it I am lucky to get over 30mg average on driving around town. If the clutch goes which happened at 40000 miles it costs around £650, so it is expensive. The drive belt went due to the engine having a small oil leak, which I was told is a common issue with the twin air engine. I will be selling this car ASAP and will advise that unless you are doing more than short journeys it will not get anywhere near the claimed mpg. I will not buy fiat again as a result of this. Apart from the trim level, this has been the worst car I have owned in terms of fuel consumption.
