Great car except for infuriating computer systems

In October 2020 I bought my first BMW Touring and it will possibly my last. I've previously owned Audi A4 Avants. Both the Audis and this BMW are well built cars, not much to choose between them in terms of quality, finish and performance.
However the computer systems on the BMW are dreadful and unecessarily complicated. Here are just a couple of examples. Each key is recognised by the car and a 'profile' is set up for each. My wife and I each have a key and a 'profile'. There's no read across in these 'profiles', each is entirely seperate. My wife and I both pretty much drive to the same places, the Sat Nav however only records destinations against the 'profile' that set them up, this oftem menas the same destination has to be re-entered on the other 'profile'. The same thing happens when travelling abroad. If I set the car up for driving in France (kph, headlights, etc.) it only records this on my 'profile', when my wife drives, she has to enter this a second time. Additionally, the phone and iPod interfaces keep failing, sometime requiring us to stop and turn the car off in order to re-boot everything. I've tried to tell BMW, but they're not interested.
