Fun to drive,great fuel returns

After having the car for three weeks and getting use to it (the dash)I began to like it.It goes when you want it to and stops sometimes sooner than you want it to due to the self braking. It is now August 24th and two days ago while waiting in a hospital car park after playing the radio for 45 minutes I happened to run my hand over the floating centre arm, as my hand neared the stop /go ignition switch I literally jumped because I couldn't touch it as it was far to hot,I feel I must report this as it must be a dangerous fault.would like to know if anyone else has had the same occurrence. Also I sold tyres for 25 years and classed Hankook as a good tyre but not a premium tyre.To sell a prestige car on these tyres to me is wrong, the cars suspension is still hard like it's predecessors of which I had 2 ( on Bridgestones) and on these tyres you feel every bump and pothole,if I ride a slightly raised white line the car veers away from my driving line quite drastically.
