Audi TT (2006 - 2014)
2.0 TDI quattro Black Edition 2dr
great on a long drive....
.....if the roads are smooth the car is awesome!
But....if you live in a rural area with c*** roads, you may not want the very hard sports suspension and 19" rims this model has and should consider the straight TDI or petrol versions with say 17 or 18" rims.
The TDI engine gives nearly 170 BHP which is plenty for me and feels a lot more because of the car's low weight and 4-wheel drive transmission and is much more economical than the petrol engine versions.
Mine averages c 50mpg according to the car's trip computer, but I get 500 - 600 miles per tank of diesel (its 55L tank I believe) so actually isn't that closer to 46mpg?
Rear seats are joke for anyone under about 4 foot, but fine if you have kids up to say 10yrs old. It is a sports coupe not a 4 door saloon remember!
The rear seats fold down and the parcel shelf comes out to create a really decent-sized boot - especially for a sports coupe.
Interior and exterior its superb, controls and drive-ability are superb, looks great too - you can get a 14 reg low-mileage mk2 now 2nd hand for about 1/4 of the original price!
