A “Ronseal” car - does everything it says it does.

Bought new, I actually went looking for a 35TFSi but they had a 40TFS Quattro in the showroom. Have now done just over 1000 (COVID restricted) miles. The car is very comfortable and covers distances effortlessly. With the 4 wheel drive the car feels “planted” under all conditions and handles well. Build quality appears to be excellent - only vibration so far was traced to a loose pen in the oddments tray ! Early days but doing about 28mpg around town and 32 mpg on a longer run. Very easy and relaxing to drive, excellent practicality including a multi level boot floor and the ability to move the rear seats forward by as much as 6”. One of the few cars of this size where you can fit a full size set of golf clubs and bag across the boot without having to remove any clubs. (Way better than a Mercedes GLA).

Built in sat nav uses Google Maps Satellite view with online traffic warnings and is by far the best in-car satnav I’ve ever used. No longer need to use smartphone apps.
