Perfect all-rounder

Bought this to consolidate our Mini and 3 series convertible into one car. We lucked out in terms of spec, finding a private seller who had fitted literally every option to the car when it was new (B&O, keyless entry, tech pack, adaptive cruise, etc. etc.)

This is packaged remarkably well. I’ve managed to get a big shop in the boot, and it can take our whole family, including two 6”4 people, in (relative) comfort which the bigger BMW struggled to do. It’s not the most engaging to drive compared to the BMW, but it’s fast enough and is a much better cruiser - I’ve seen 50mpg on occasion from the 1.8TFSI, but 40-45mpg is more realistic on a long run. This car is an excellent all-rounder, and it’s good fun with the roof off. My one slight issue with it is the roof can’t open/close from the key, but we’re getting this coded in so should be okay!
