BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is an MPV first
The BMW 2 Series Active Tourer has made its first public appearance in production form at Geneva. The eagerly-anticipated new model will be BMW’s first ever MPV and also its first model with front-wheel drive, while the engines are shared with the new MINI.

The 218d Active Tourer has 150PS and a peak torque of 330Nm. CO2 will be 109g/km while economy will be a claimed 68.9mpg. In November 2014 BMW will introduce 220i, 216d, 220d and 220d xDrive. BMW has developed a new six-speed manual gearbox for the Active Tourer, although an automatic will also be available.
