Hi all
I just got a penalty for doing a u-turn at a set of traffic lights there wasnot a no u-turn sign but I was in a right hand filter lane witch had a blue circle and white directional arrow pointing to the right, I turned to the right and then carried round doing a u-turn, the penaty notice states
"road junction***/*** road, NO U-TURN failed to drive in the direction shown by the arrow on a blue sign (turning in the wrong direction )"
Can this be right ? the following set of lights less than a mile away along the same stretch of A road have the same set up for the lights except there is a no u-turn sign below the blue arrow clearly indicating that you cannot u-turn at that junction, has anyone had the same penalty issued or knows how I stand on this for appeal?
Thanks
