Ford Fiesta LX 2002 - Immobiliser Issue! - Geoff Brent
My Ford Fiesta has been off the road for a while. I tried to start it (after recharging the battery) and something clicks a few times near the glove box and the immobiliser flashes very rapidly and you get an EAC failure alarm in the clock LCD. Is there anyway to override this?
Any help very much appreciated!

A flashing immobiliser light suggests there is a problem with the battery power supply or the chipped key is not recognised.Make sure the battery is right up to strength and also check the fuses ,behind the glovebox.The system cannot be overrriden.hth

Thanks for that! The battery is good and I've tried to jump start as well with the same results. Also checked the fuses! Is there a way of sorting the key if its that?

When I say jump start I mean with jump leads & 14.5 v on!
