I would hope that the Bentley isn't a complete write-off. The 40s Land Rover probably wouldn't have got stuck, let alone written off.
Quite frankly, any idiot who attempts to drive a normal road car through a flood has only himself to blame. I would encourage the insurance company to deny any payout as it was wilful negligence.
