Ford Focus 2003 1.6 - Ford focus electrical fault-intermittent - bigfoot125

one minute the wipers and windows work the next they dont, a period of the car standing makes it either work, fuses not blown engine starts fine, not sure where to go next to be honest

any help is appreciated

most probably a simple wiring fault.

Corossion is common with ford electrics, but the fix should be cheap if you go to a local autoelectrician

thanks for the reassurance

i take it the wiring can be anywhere around the dashboard , a local mechanic could do the job too i take it, couple of hours work maybe?

Yep, a local mechanic should be able to. A few hours as some 'stripping' may be required

I had similar problems with my mazda 6 which had ford wiring components - had to replace a couple of wiring looms
