Hi all
My Focus developed a misfre under load (worst at 2500rpm in 4th) and within days a tapping at idle . I've done a DPF regeneration during that time with Forte fluid (powertrain and engine lights came on) but the misfire was there before just not as noticable along with intermittend rough idling and a flat spot most noticable when changing up from 2nd to 3rd.
The tapping sounds like it's coming from the left hand side of the engine as you look at it standing at the front of the car.
It sounds costly! Anyone any ideas?
