Landrover Freelander 2008 - electric window fault - Jenksincornwall

the drivers door window, goes up on automatic and then as soon as it reaches the top of the cycle (i.e.fully closed) immediately comes back down again to fully open !! Is this a familiar fault and /or has someone suffered something similar. I am keen to know what sort of repair bill I am likely to get?

Have you tried the reset procedure as in the handbook ?

or try this

1) 1st open car window fully but keep holding button after its fully opened for a good 10 seconds.

2) Then close window as far as it will go and again keep holding the button a good 10 seconds after it has closed
