hi i am rebuilding the engine for my escort 1.8 zetec si and i have stripped the engine down to bare block head off so on and so forth and im repainting and refurbishing it ive prepped and painted everthing and am starting to build it back up and come across the breather box that sits behind the exhaust manifold and its rotten

i read about some 1 putting a turbo on a zetec lump and he has said whilst doing it he capped this breather box off completely and removed it

so can it be removed and capped off in normal curcumstances without complications
