I wouldn't let the mileage put me off, but bear in mind the following points:
- if it looks OK and feels OK then it probably is OK (do the usual checks) If it has been well-looked after it should still feel pretty solid and newish.
- get an AA/RAC inspection to be on the safe side
- it is a better bet than a car that may have a similar true mileage but has been clocked
- haggle hard on the price because, depending on your annual mileage and how long you intend to keep it, you may find it hard to sell on in the future
I've had a couple of ex-company cars with high mileage (Merc at 116k and BMW at 134k) and ran both to approx 200k with very few problems.
