I just wanted to report a fix for the sudden loss of power problem, you know the thing, your driving along and suddenly the car losses power it still works but it's almost as if the car has gone into a "limp home" mode, switching the engine on and off "solves" the problem, for a time anyway, Nissan wanted £1,200! for a new fuel pump, but the culprit (in my case) is a fuel flow regulator valve, fixed by my mechanic for £50.
