For reference.
I did 260 miles in my recently acquired Fiesta the day I got it, with no problem.
The next day it would not start. The injectors were loosened off, and then engine cranked.
This at first did not achieve anything, BUT then a split was spotted in a small hose on the drivers side of the block.
It was taken off, and when cranking fuel started to sputter from it.
The end was snipped off, and it was re-attached to the spigot.
Started first go. :o)
I can only assume that was a diesel supply/return line, and the split had caused an air lock/fuel to return to the tank.
Anyway I hope this helps someone in the future.
