Vauxhall Combo 1.3 cdti - Vauxhall Combo 1.3 cdti lottery starter! - fraz_combo

Hi all, I have 2007 Vauxhall Combo 1.3 cdti, starting her is a lottery, cold or not, plenty of power in the battery (new) turns the engine over but wont fire, just turns over till the battery wants to go flat. Other times it well start straight away. Will bump first time every time. Flashing glow plug symbol constantly, don’t know if this issue is connected? Any help much appreciated! Thanks.

Don't know if it will be of any help, but on the petrol Corsas, failure to start on the starter motor, but bumping easily can be down to failure of the crankshaft position sensor.
