when the engine is turned on for a few seconds it makes a knocking sound after that the car runs without any trouble. thank you

Probably the hydraulic tappets draining back into the sump when parked, the engine rattles when started until oil pressure fills the gaps! - Shouldn't cause any trouble though.

It's worth using an engine oil flush before your next oil change to see if it improves.

Are you sure it is from the engine. The other possibility is the dual mass flywheel has bust a spring. Does it do it every time you start it even when hot/warm. Regards Peter
