Hi,

When I start the engine on the rev counter goes up to 2.5 instead of the usual just below 1. When driving, when I go into neutral it goes up over three on the counter.

How can I get the revs back to normal. Also a problem which may be related is when in cruise control, the car accelerates, then pulls back like it is starved of fuel the accelerates again. In my last post I was complaining that I could not get the fuel consumption above 30, well now with this problem you think that the consumption would be worse, but the mpg display shows over 40. I don’t think they got this high when they were new. I need to sort this rev problem out soon or ill have to lay out for a new clutch. Can you help?
