Hi all

Hopefully someone can help! We have developed an odd whine coming from the front of our 2002 Clio. Its not a 'humming' sound like it would be if its a wheel bearing (had this problem before). its not a screech, but an odd whining sound that comes intermittantly.

It seems to come on after the car has travelled at over 60/70MPH when I am driving back in a 30 limit. It definitely sounds like its something to do with the wheels or brakes and not the engine running since it only happens when the car is moving.

It seems to stop when the brakes are applied so I wonder if it is something to do with the brakes. The car has done 69K and has had a cambelt change (don't know if this would be relevant or not)

If someone could help that would be very much appreciated, I'm slightly concerned that it could be the brakes rubbing
