Is an MoT needed for insurance purposes
Our estate car was classed as a category D write-off. We have had it repaired at our own expense (two new N/S doors and the rear wheel arch repaired) and are now claiming off the third party's insurance. Does the car need to be re-MoT'd for insurance purposes? It was only done the day before the accident.
