Any bikers in the Cambridge area on Sunday ?

Cambridge Advanced Motorcyclists (CAM) the local group of the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists (IAM) will be holding a free assessment day on Sunday 8 th May 2011 for all local motorcyclists who might be considering some advanced rider training. With so many bikers returning to the roads after a winter break and with the recent good weather we have enjoyed what better time to get out on the bike and brush up on those skills.

Experienced Observers from CAM will be available between 10:00 and 13:00 at BT Exchange in Long Road Cambridge CB2 8HG to take motorcyclists out for a 30 minute ride and to give them advice on how to improve their skills and get more out of motorcycling. Advanced riders are far less likely to be involved in a collision and many Insurance companies will give a discount to those who have passed the IAM test.

Also in attendance will be Cambridgeshire County Council Road Safety Department who will be able to give information on bike safe courses being run in the area.

If anyone cannot attend but would like further information then drop us an email at info@cambs.org.uk
