Toyota Landcruiser Lc3 - Brake problem - tedmurphy41

This brake problem is on a 2007 Landcruiser, 3.0l diesel automatic.

The brake pedal nearly goes to the floor, although it does continue to stop the vehicle.

I have bled the brakes with no noticeable effect.

There appears to be no brake booster fitted, having just the standard servo and antilock system. When I exhaust the system of air in the servo assistance, the brake pedal is solid and steady; however, on starting the engine, the brake pedal creeps slowly to the floor, stopping just before it.

This vehicle has covered less than 15,000 miles since new.

Any ideas as to the solution?

Thanks,

Ted Murphy.
