Hi all.

So i have a VW Golf 1.9 TDI 1999 and the other day the battery dies. so i got the AA out and they used thier booster to charge the battery and everything was fine until i realised 2 things. 1 - the electric windows do not work and 2 - the central locking does not work either.

It has been like this for a week now and i got my mate to look at it and he did some tests. He checked the windscreen wash and noticed it was getting low so he topped it up and checked the front windscreen was wipers and they was fine however the rear wiper works but no fluid. i noticed a bit of the fluid on the floor from under the bonnet but i saw him spill some so just ignored it until today i tried it again and then the car now says no windscreen fluid, under the bonnet was heaps of the liquid.

I must have a leak so can anyone point me in the right direction of test to carry out? where i should look? and how to stop the leak? The leak is drirectly under the fluid bottle at the front. Would these problems be related? i have tried the fuses for the electric problem but all seem ok.
