Hi, My Golf had four new ignition coils last April after the engine started to misfire. The same thing has happened again and my local garage has replaced one coil. All was well for about two weeks but now the engine symbol shows when I am driving the car.

The garage now want to replace all four coils again at a cost of about £160.I feel there must be something else wrong as before last April the car has not had an electrics /engine problem since we got it in 2007.

Advice would be appreciated.
