How many electric cars are there in the UK?

The most recent registration data suggests that there are approximately 1.2 million electric cars in the UK, which represents 3.5% of the total number of cars presently on the road.

If you cover no more than 100 miles per day and have easy access to a charging point at home or work, then an EV is ideal for you.
