Peugeot 307 - Battery Light stays on when Ignition is off - mattaber79

Help!!

I'm having to disconnect the battery everytime I leave my car because instead of everything shutting down as it should my battery light stays on along with the centre dash. If left, the battery drains. I've checked the alternator and it seems to be charging the battery ok... any suggestions greatly recieved!!

I suspect the alternator regulator is faulty. The small battery light being on would not drain the battery overnight but a failed diode in the rectifier pack would. Regards Peter

Thanks Peter, I'm taking it to a alternator specialist tomorrow to get it all checked!
